Successful Migraine Headache Treatment

Diagnosis: Migraines (hemicranias), stiff neck, muscle spasms in back, neck, and body; nausea, stress, fatigue, 2 to 3 day headaches about every week, mild headaches almost every day. Any impact from MDs side: 5 years Tax with meds, virtually no relief
Components of Treatment Program: Craniofacial Balancing, Myofascial Release, massage, and Neuromuscular Therapy; herbal pain killers, muscle relaxers, and anti-inflammatory which she was able to stop after several months.

Length of treatment program: 7 months

Progress made by patient: 90% + recovery, few headaches, manageable stress, very little pain and spasms in body

Additional info: This patient had TMJ involvement, upper cervical misalignment, neck tightness, and as a self-employed person she was working too hard. Intraoral jaw work, cranial therapy, soft tissue cervical release and establishing adequate range of motion in her neck and shoulders helped end her headache pain cycle. Some abdominal/visceral work was also necessary as well as health coaching.
