Comprehensive Treatment of Cardiovascular and COPD Conditions
A 72 years old male patient, Tom W. was previously seen and treated at our office for a right rotator cuff tear, heel spurs, and neuropathy. However, upon our conversations, he revealed to us that he was a mechanic and a former smoker. The patient has a history of mitral valve failure, hypertension, deep vein thrombosis, and asthma. The patient had been a mechanic for more than 35 years and smoked 2 packs per day. Due to his recent difficulty breathing and "loss of breath," he stopped smoking more than 1 year ago. He also described feeling tired on a daily basis. Mr. W stated that he raised pigs, goats, and cows, and feeding which often involved using hays and grasses, which easily fatigued him and triggered allergies, which contributed to his shortness of breath.

After a physical examination and history evaluation, we concurred that he had COPD with more likely than not emphysema. The patient was treated conservatively using a laser for his musculoskeletal complaints and with excellent progress. He then expressed wanting to proceed with Wei Lab's COPD protocol. We started the patient out with just LC Balancer, CL (previous name “ClearLung”), Soup A and Soup B in May of 2018. The patient continued the formulas at full dose for four months and showed more than 50% improvement in breathing, circulation, and his ability to continue with his farm activities.

Due to his history of cardiovascular disease, the patient was advised by his Cardiologist to undergo shunt and stent insertion in September 2019. Unfortunately, 3 weeks post-surgery, Mr. W developed chest pain, weakness at the left chest, and a moderate decrease in ADL. He felt worse after the procedure, despite a negative ultrasound and normal position of the stent. We obtained his ultrasound and doppler study, which revealed despite a normal flow, the arterial diameter had decreased and with hypertrophy along the arterial walls, which prevented the adequate amount of blood flowing from his heart to his extremities. The patient went back to Wei Lab’s herbal formula CV, which lasted for several weeks, with a slight improvement in energy. We then suggested Wei Lab's full cardiovascular protocol which includes CV, B-2, QI Booster, and Myogen. We also received a week of the Vigorall formula. Mr. W reported an overall increase in energy and a decrease in extremities numbness with an overall 60-70% improvement in less than 3 weeks of usage.
