Successful Chronic Cervical Degenerative Disc Disease Treatment
Patient is a 70 y/o female presented to San Francisco in 2007 with chronic cervical degenerative disc disease
One week before her extended cruise this patient had recurrence of chronic neck pain.
She had consulted another Chiropractor that she had seen before but noticed an increase in pain after the treatment so she came to my office.
Her symptoms included; neck pain headache, neck and shoulder pain chronic neck pain, pain between shoulder blades, shoulder blade pain, and chronic shoulder pain.
After a thorough orthopedic/neurological exam a diagnosis of cervical degenerative disc disease was reached.
The initial treatment included: a Whole Body Alignment using my unique Non-Force Chiropractic Spinal Manipulation, along with Tui Na Orthopedic Massage and Reflexology.
Immediately following the treatment the patient reported feeling more light, calmer and peaceful, increased range of motion in her neck and shoulders and 60% less neck pain.
At-home-self-care included; increasing Spring Water intake to 60 ounces per day, applying moist heat for 20 minutes 3X day to neck and shoulders, the addition of Whole Food Multivitamins to each meal 3X day for two months.
In the essence of time, a follow-up treatment was scheduled two days later. The treatment included; a Whole Body Alignment using my Non-Force Chiropractic Spinal Manipulation, Tui Na Orthopedic Massage and Reflexology.
Immediately following the second treatment, the patient reported the complete absence of pain and the ability to move her neck and shoulders in a normal range of motion.
She was able to enjoy her extended cruise pain free.
As a way of mitigating the advancement of chronic cervical degenerative disc disease, this patient comes every two months for preventative care which includes; a Whole Body Alignment including my Non-Force Chiropractic Spinal Manipulation, Tui Na Orthopedic Massage and Reflexology. She continues to supplement her diet with Whole Food Multiple Vitamins.
