“I utilize in a variety of techniques so to encompass all ages. I use hands on techniques called Diversified adjustments as well as gentler light force techniques such as activator, cranial-sacral, drop table, and SOT blocks. I practice Trigger Point Therapy (Receptor Tonus) and various soft tissue therapies to alleviate pain and muscle spasms, thus allowing better circulation of blood and lymph. This is to insure that the injuries heal properly and with the best range of motion. Better circulation increases elimination of acids (decreased pain), and better repair of tissue by having more oxygen and nutrients flowing through the capillaries.”
Treatment sessions will not be rushed and Dr. Rood will explain the nature of the underlying problems, and provide care to stabilize the symptoms and then begin the process of creating healthy and well patients. He encourages open communication and is happy to answer any questions regarding your condition and/or financial arrangements.
“Initially I’m trying to relieve the patient’s pain and secondly, I encourage them to take responsibility for their own health. The patient has the choice of short term relief or a life changing experience through wellness care of exercise, nutrition, and preventive care of chiropractic lifestyle.
