Successful Treatment of Acute Intercostal Shingles
I was fortunate enough one afternoon when I began to feel mid back intercostalar pain and altered sensations to be in possession of some medium FASTT Wei patches. After the pain and dysesthesia continued without relenting and the typical shingles rash began to develop on the right mid thoracic region and then followed the 8th intercostals dermatome I realized the nightmare so many of my patients had experienced with this painful affliction was unfolding. So I immediately put on a medium patch and to my surprise I soon had relief such that within 8 hours I was 50% improved. Knowing the speed with which this damages nerves if the patch had not helped I would have gone to PCP and gotten Zovirax or the like. Fortunately the patch worked so well that within 48 hours, 90% of symptoms were gone and in 2 weeks it completely disappeared
