Treatment of Chronic Hip Pain & Low Back Symptoms
A female patient, age 65, came for treatment in 2008. She had been diagnosed with chronic hip pain (7 out of 10). She also reported occasional low back complaints (5/10).
An acupuncture treatment was prescribed for two sessions. Upon completion occasional maintenance has been applied ever since (every 3-4 months).
The results have been truly positive. The chronic hip pain as well as the low back pain is eliminated after each treatment. The results sustain for several months. The occasional maintenance treatments keep the patient at the high level of comfort. She has been fully functional ever since.
