Successful Phantom Pain & Morphine Addiction Treatment
In 2003, an 81 year old male patient came in with phantom pain from tailbone cancer surgery and morphine addiction. He was left with partial paralysis of his lower left side and walked with a leg brace and a cane since that time. He suffered from varying amounts of pain, which increased over time. He had a total of four sessions; the first lasted about 1 hour and the next three sessions lasted approximately 15 minutes each. The phantom pain left after first treatment, and the morphine addiction was resolved after the next three sessions.
Perception of result by patient: Like a miracle, the phantom pain left my body for good - in just one treatment. It was truly a miracle. The relief was awesome. I could not believe it. I have not needed addictive drugs since.
