Successful Treatment of Loss of Curvature to Neck Vertebrae
A male patient of 31 years had been suffering from severe neck trauma after a motor vehicle accident. While looking left, the patients vehicle had been struck from behind. Upon visiting the ER, x-rays had shown stress on the right anterior aspects of cervical spine as well as loss of curvature in the neck.
Visits with Dr. Ward consisted of rehabilitative care aimed towards fractioning and strengthening of the neck muscles as well as follow-up treatments at home. After 28 visits over the course of 3 months, the patients condition had changed from a 22 mm head forward posture with no curve to a 0 mm head posture with 29 degree curve.
