Successful Treatment of Neck Injury
A female patient of 51 years had been suffering from mid and lower neck pain, numbness in her legs and feet, and tingling in the hands. Being a teacher for developmentally disabled children, her job would occasionally involve physical injuries to herself. However, being a teacher for 18 years, the patient loved her job and was willing to do anything to continue working.
Dr. Wards treatment consisted of cervical fractioning, lower back fractioning, and cur cumin longa adjustments. Since money was a factor for the patient, majority of the treatment had been done at home. At home, the patient was told to use inversion tables at home in 15 minute intervals for her lumbar and lower back as well as apple cider vinegar baths (to reduce inflammation). At Dr. Wards office, the patient used a combination of Vertitrack sessions and Dakota blocks to tighten and strengthen the muscles. Dakota blocks were not utilized until the patient was able to hang her head off the bed for 8 to 10 minutes.
While the patients treatment is still ongoing after 2 months, the patient has not felt any numbness in her feet for over a week. All the tingling in her hands is gone. Her progress was, as she stated, unbelievable.
