Successful Treatment for Chronic Fatigue/Fibromyalgia
A female patient, age 45, came for treatment in 2010. She had been diagnosed with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. She suffered from severe pain (7-10 out of 10). As a result, she could not go to work at times. Many daily activities had been seriously limited. The MD had prescribed a long list of medications. She received a number of cortisone shots which did not yield results.
Dr.Cummings prescribed a natural treatment program consisting of biweekly acupuncture and herbal remedies. The core treatment lasted for about 2 months with further continuation as needed. A number of Chinese herbal remedies were applied for the first few months.
Ultimately, the patients pain-level was completely removed with occasional and random episodes of mild pain which faded again quickly. Last but not least, all medication was discontinued. The results have been sustained ever since
