A 53 year old female patient suffered from hemorrhaging during period with large amount of clots, prolonged period, low iron and decreased hemoglobin. She also had bleeding between periods. The patient took birth control pills for 30 years. It was also found that she had clots in the lung and used Coumadin to prevent new clots from forming. She had taken osteoporosis medications for 10 years and her bone scan revealed that her bone density had decreased. She also had a history of cancer.

Dr. Arastouzadeh initially recommended an herbal treatment from Wei Laboratories consisting of MayMay Capsules, Brown Juice, LC Balancer and Xcel Capsules for uterus, liver and kidney health. After one month of treatment, the patient experienced limited change in her period. Additional herbal products from Wei Laboratories were then recommended called the Sissy Capsules for uterine heat and Blood Tonic to nurture the blood. After one month of treatment with Sissy Capsules and Blood Tonic, her period changed from 3 weeks to 4 weeks with spotting instead of heavy bleeding. At this point, a combination of MayMay Capsules and Anemic Formula was used but bleeding and heavy clotting persisted and the time between periods coming back to 3 weeks. After further review of her entire treatment history, Dr. Arastouzadeh believed the patient may have excessive heat in the uterus considering her history of cancer and treatment should exclude all nurturing products which may aggravate the heat and only focus on the treatment which cleans the heat. Therefore, treatment with Sissy Capsules alone from Wei Laboratories was recommended to help remove uterus heat for 4 weeks.

After 4 weeks of Sissy Capsules treatment, bleeding between periods was completely eliminated; this was an excellent sign. The patients period cycle returned to 25 days, but still had heavy bleeding for 2 days during her period which typically lasted 4-5 days. The treatment results verified the concept of heat removal without nurturing, but the heat did not only localize in the uterus. Then an additional herbal treatment of Bitter Juice which helps remove blood heat was recommended from Wei Laboratories. With a combination of Bitter Juice and Sissy Capsules for one month, the patients period was completely eliminated. It has been over 3 months; the patient has not experienced any periods or related symptoms. The patients condition is cured after a total of one year treatment with the herbal products from Wei Laboratories. The patient and doctor were extremely happy with the results.
